Back in 2006 The Opus gallery in Newcastle was home to the Rebelo:06 exhibition. Curated by Lee Simpson (@leesimpson), the show featured street artists from around the world as well as well known artists such as Jamie Hewlett and Shepard Fairey.
This video served as a retrospective to that weekend, and while I’ve featured this edit on Vimeo before, the upload quality was not what it is now. So with a mini blast from the past it’s re-uploaded for your viewing pleasure.
Back in February I did some filming at the first round of Secret Wars in Bristol. For those that don’t know Secret Wars is a regular artistic battle between individuals or teams of street artists in venues around the world. With 90 minutes on the clock each team has to out do the other with a freehand masterpiece. The first round of the European tour saw Bristol go up against Warsaw in Bristol’s Start The Bus. I’d love to tell you who won, but well you watch can’t you?
Currently living in glorious Bristol in the South West of England, I have been fortunate enough to work alongside companies such as the BBC and Carsonified, editing various projects as well working on film and edit with more corporate based projects for smaller companies across the country.
In addition I also film and edit my own personal work and as part of the Xynthetic collective.
