I absolutely love this piece. Daniel Kanemoto took it upon himself to create this awesome intro sequence to the forthcoming Frank Darabont directed television adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s ‘The Walking Dead’ comic! That was a long sentence!
Awesome animation from Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata telling the tale of a couple vacationing in San Francisco who believe they’ve gotten into the backseat of the Zodiac Killer’s car. Features a mixture of After Effects, stop motion, hand puppets and more, it’s a beautifully crafted piece!
Thursday Vimeo Pick of the Week!
This week my choice of the Vimeo vaults goes to Gabe Askew and his incredible animated fan made video for Grizzly Bear’s “Two Weeks”. There’s a high probability I saw this video before I actually started listening to Grizzly Bear (which was oddly AFTER I’d long been listening to Department of Eagles, Grizzly’s frontman’s other band!) It’s an incredible piece of work, and I’ve no doubt you’ll dig it like a builder digs foundations!
