The Story Beyond the Still Canon video contest rolls forward with the winning entry for part two by Josh Thacker.  Josh did an amazing job of continuing the story after Vincent Laforet’s opening offering, the deadline for part 3 submissions is March 22nd.

Photographer Vincent Laforet was asked by Canon to create the first chapter in their ‘Story Beyond The Still’ contest they’re currently running.  The premise is that the film begins with a still image, and is then interpreted in film format to continue the story.  Vincent kicked off the contest with chapter 1 of 7 using Canon’s new 7D model, a camera I am currently salivating over! Vincent made some amazing work using Canon’s range of HD Video capable DSLR’s and I can’t wait to see more!  You can catch details of Canon’s contest here, the deadline for submissions for chapter 2 is February 11th.
